these days, i realized there is some weird sound coming from under the car. basically, its from the rear part of the car but not from the exhaust tip. i think it is more likely from the gasket between the cat and the pipe at the front of the muffler. it sounds like the discrete highly pressured air spouting from a autoclave. can it be the exhaust leak?

 

Odd I had this on my AT 8. Never had her looked at RIP. Someone did a post in the Gen dis section and they posted a video of the sound. Sounds like a Exhaust leak or bad CAT. Its hard to tell. I would take her in asap and get her looked at.

 

I THOUGHT an exhaust leak could only be detected when u rev it. Can you also hear it when its at idle?

 

and the noise wasnt loud at all, i can only hear it when no one talks around me.
