My cold air Intake??

The dealer screwed me over with some paperwork and made it a big hassle. Long story short i got a free cold air intake out of it. What exactly does it help the 8 for?

what cold air intake is it? mazda speed? if so, i doesnt do much, but does sound pretty cool
