ok after realizing i havn't cleaned my air filter(s) in a about 40,000km's or more

i tried searching on the internet as i've never done the method or whatever before
luckily the guys at the shop i go to told me how it was done

i made this funny/kinda interesting short video just to give people an idea on how re oiling your filter is done

yes you'll need to install the DivX plugin in case you don't have it

don't know what Divx is? google it and you'll find the picture quality is higher then that of youtube thanks to stage6.com

Great howto. I really wish the subtitles had been up longer though, i had trouble reading the longer ones.

 

I thought the recharge kits on K&N filter totally screwed the MAF sensor? Gums it all up so it can't get a clear reading.

 

even if it does, the shop vac trick to get the excess oil and maf sensor cleaner should do the trick... but yeah, does it really have the much oil to affect the reading.

i never thought about that one... good point.

 

been running K&N for 3 years now without any negative effect on MAF .
OH and did not look at the vid. but what is wrong with the K&N proceedure written on the recharger kit ?
