midpipe bolts

midpipe bolts

where do i order these from? i've got my cat off and all i need now is the bolts and then i can attatch the midpipe.

i just went to ace hardware and bought stainless steel bolts. that way they dont rust

depends on the midpipe. On the B&B pipe, it uses a weird bolt thread. I wasn't able to find any local stores that carried a proper sized nut to match, so I looked online and even stores that carry thousands of different kinds of nuts didn't have anything like it. I ended up paying $40 or so for next day shipping from B&B for the nuts.

They wont rust...but they tend to gall together, and are just as hard to get off

ok well i got the rx7store midpipe so i'll just go to a store and get some. what size do i need?

you need 3 3" 3/8" bolts with 2 washers per bolt, and 2 3" 5/16" bolts with two 3/8" and 5/16" washers per bolt to hold the spring on.

it will be about 30 bucks if you want stainless, but IMO it is worth it

not a prob. i just did it, so thats how i know. you will NEED the dual washers for the rear flange. the 5/16" washers arent big enough to cover the whole spring.
