Corner Weighting

I've got coilovers on the car for some time now but the car looks uneven (height L to R).

So I'm sure its setting off the weight. What I'd like to know is:

Where do they offer the corner weighting service? (BJ, Jax?)

What the service involves (as I'd like them to adjust the coilovers too, to the optimum height )?

And how much ?

Also, I've been quoted $299ea for RE-001 adrenalin's. Anyone know of a place offering them cheaper in Sydney?

Thanks

Corner weighting is not something you do because your car looks uneven. Getting someone to fix the unevenness of the adjustments is what you need.

Admintedly you would probably end up paying the same price so you may as well, I just wanted to make the points that whoever set it up initial sounds like they did a poor job. Aslo, balancing by measurement is the best thing for visual effects, corner balancing is for fine refinement and handling.

I have heard people talk about a place in sydney called "East Coast" which does corner weight balance, alos MRT Performance

1 Averill Street (corner of Concord Road)
Rhodes NSW 2138
Australia.

Cheers

Warning - MRT don't miss you in their pricing and your car will come back covered in their marketing crap...

LOL nice work Dave. I've heard about their modest pricing strategy...

Its a show pony fest on their shop front.

Yes, I did a dodgy job of re-adjusting height. But its such an effort when you can't fit a rolling jack underneath the car and no air gun.

I'll get a quote from MRT (close to me), less stickers (content with Ric Shaw's), and post up.

The scale don't lie. Tell them to put the final balance in your camera's memory.

Ha Ha! Been there and done that. When I did mine the back settled to a nice height. The front however just kept going down and I had to use the wind-up jack on the side to lift it high enough to remove the trolley jack.

If you don't mind travelling a bit you might want to visit the following:

Whoelsale Suspension
129 Coreen Avenue
Penrith 2750
--------------------------------
Phone: 02 4721 2112

I had my ride height adjusted, followed by a 4 wheel alignment.

You will need to have some idea of what ride height you want, whether you want the drivers side a little higher to compenstate for the driver weight. They'll even let you into the workshop to watch the process.

I've use them previously for wheel alignments when prepping for the nationals or track days.

They are a friendly lot and are open all day Saturday. It pays to ring and book as they are very popular.

Cheers... Otto

Well I have to say that I quite enjoy doing it. Took me best part of 4 hours just before nats but loved it and that included changing the spring tension. I call it stress relief.

Cheers
