coilovers will give your car a better overall feel, and should actually be worth the money, especially if you plan on tracking your car. aftermarket exhaust on this car doesnt make much gains unless you get a midpipe or a high-flow cat. cat-backs are expensive and will only give you a 1-2 hp increase

Yeah just because you don't have one.

I always say sway bar first.

Suspension parts are always my favorite add ons cause it's something you notice every time you drive the car.

Exhaust is great for a new tone, but isn't a true performance gain like other applications.

Don't forget to throw on some beefy sway bars too! Then you'll really go nuts!

Just go sways first and see how you like it and then go coil overs.

Cheaper alternative is the MS shocks and springs with Whiteline sways - you'll still have money left over towards a new exhaust for what good coil overs will cost you.

Yeah, it's not really worth modding your car ... it's a waste of money

Coilovers are great for a bumpy ride (assuming that you live metro-sydney - good luck).

Sorry, its the truth. :D

Looks hot though.

this is why i'm very hesitant to fit coilovers or heavier swaybars . Having a bad back this could be a mod I would regret .
Any others done a suspension upgrade that is not to harsh on the ride ? I'm thinking adjustable shocks with a mild spring rate increase ....

My first mod would definetely be a Short shifter , then followed by a Exhaust .

Cheers

Why? What are the benefits?

Driving both on road and on track, I find the standard shifter roughly 30% more reliable and don't understand why someone would waste their money on it.
