so here is long story short. i spun out taking a turn and slid into a lexus and crumpled my front right fender and front corner of my bumper clip. so after 10 days in the shop, my car is done, and the body shop ordered a new D1 GT bumber from bodykitz.com (cause veilside didn't have them in stock), well they ordered the Invader because they were out of the GT... so they get it 2 days later. Only to reciever the bumber clip in a cardboard box with no packing materials or anything inside the box. needless to say, the clip was chipped, cracked and broken in many places... i mean, really who ships thier products in just a box??? ok, so after that, the body shop send the kit back and body kitz tell them, they won't get any others in for 2 weeks!!! so now my car has been in the shop for almost 3 weeks done but the front bumber to be painted and hung on.... so should i wait it out and get the bumper that i want, or start looking for a new bumber that goes best with the rest of my car?

Just so you know Jesse you'r posting in the wrong spot. But I would wait it out. Rome was not built over night. On the other hand I don't like the veilside kits for the 8.

 

There's another place in Irvine that carries them. I think they are called Blitz.

Check them out. They may have them in stock.

Also ther eis a dealer down the street from Veilside. They also may have them.

 

If I were you, man, I would take the car back home and search for another set of bodykit.

 

The ways that the counterfit companies ship their stuff blows my mind.

We should have front bumpers in stock middle on November.
I know that is a little ways away, but just throwing it out there.

Might be a better option than wasting money on fake stuff...

 

bodykitz.com is a really bad site, possibly about as bad if not worse than ebay

I would just buy it from someone else and demand a refund

 

well, the part is supposively arriving into the shop today if not tomorrow. i should have my car by friday. so we'll see. i just thought that these body kits would be stocked better. then again, i can see that there is a HUGE demand for this kit. oh well, another lesson learned in life. thanks for the replies.
