OK, so, my question is this:

How in the world do I find someone or business to do a Ram Air-type duct in my left front bumper and to put in some louvers for heat extraction in my hood?

I've seen one 8 on this site with the air duct and it looked clean/mean. Not too mention, it really has to help at speed.

I'm running the K&N Typhoon II intake and was thinking of buying the RB Ram Air duct that goes behind the bumper. But, honestly, that seems to be too much work.

Am I wrong about this?

Also, I just had my whole car custom painted, so I don't really need an aftermarket hood with the heat extractors...besides, it's not like that hood weighs too much anyways.

Any and all ides/suggestions would be most welcome.

If you already know how to take the front bumper off, then the RB Ram Air will take you about 30 minutes tops to install. It's a piece of cake. Even if you haven't taken the bumper off yet, it's really easy. As for the hood..................no ideas.

 

No its not too much work as my friend has this set up and its sweet!. Also I'll be doing the same soon. Looks good sound good and best of all, It works.

 

xdeedubbx is the one who did the ram air in the front bumper. you are better off taking the front bumper off for the racing beat ram air duct. wouldn't want to mess up from cutting into the front. oh yea, and you also have to take off the front bumper anyways to remove the vfad positioned behind it.

 

Its easy to take the front, I took it off twice, first time for RB Duct, second time to replace fog light (cuz its a lot easier)

I will say ... for first timer should take around 2 hours. Cuz you might want to make sure you dont force anything.

second time, about 45 minutes to take off - replace - reinstall. cuz I was taking my time enjoying the breeze.

if you dont mind to travel downto NYC, u can come over to my house and I will show u how is done, takes about 1 hour. I have some beer in my house ya know
