Hey i'm buying a stock spoiler from someone tomorrow. and he said he just wanted to do a trunk swap because it would be eaiser. Anything i need to know when doing it? is it complicated or simple? and is it a good idea?

 

I don't see any problems. Unless you want to upgrade to an MS wing in the future. The MS wing fits the same holes, but there is usually some scuff marks left by the OEM spoiler that the MS wing doesn't cover.

 

i would probably only upgrade to the MS wing if i got the body kit. i just think the MS looks better with the kit. and the stock looks better with the stock. and if i got a bodykit it wouldn't be for a few years.

 

The MS wing looks better on any 8. I'm not sure how bad the scuffing is when going from the OEM to the MS, but I know some people have issues with it.
