Did this happen to anybody ?
Well, Ok, I was driving, normally.
STop at a stop light. talking to my GF, All of the sudden I dont feel the engine anymore.
it seems that the power to the ECU has been cut, for about 1-2 seconds dash broad just got no power, but then it came back on, and I got the DSC light, just like when I pull the battery Cable.
but the thing is, none of my preset setting has been affected by this. even the trip mileage meter number stays the same.
after that, car drives normal, nothing unusual
worries me ALOT now. I made an appointment with dealership few days ago I guess I will have them to put it in the paper just to prove that this has happen.
anything like that happened to any of you guys ? cuz I've never seen one (and search)

My coolant is overflowing like *CRAZY*.
I just ordered a 1.5 bar radiator cap, and will make a trip to home depot tonight (Finally) to get myself some long tube to re-route the thing.
Gonna try some tube support up to 150 degrees @ 70 psi.

All you really need is a hose thats *bigger* than the stock. Cut to the desired length, slip it over the existing hose. That allows to re-route. Doesn't have to be airtight, just redirecting any overflow away from the sensitive bits. I already had some clear plastic tubing left over from my transmission lube changes that served well.

so I probably added too much coolant in the first place. or I might still have air in the system (which I doubt), but I will just let it squirt a few more days and see what happens.
Oh one more question, is it possible to buy a Silicone hose and Cut it myself?
Reason I ask is that when replacing my Radiator, I replaced the stock hose with Agency Power hose, BUT ! the agency power hose came with the upper hose and the Lower hose from the water jacket to Radiator only. the kit does not come with the hose that runs from the Engine to the water jacket.
So I was thinking, maybe I can go get a silicone hose myself, and cut it to the shape of the stock hose, and install it. wonder is it ok to do that.
Thx

Will do.

+1 I had this happen to me a couple winters ago. It ended up being a bad connection on the positive battery cable. It seemed tight, but in the end, there were gaps on between the post and connector. Take it to the dealer and have them clean the connectors and posts and reconnect.

There was a time when you could replace upper and lower hoses with generic flex hoses of the right length and diameter, and heater hose with stuff off a roll. These days, though, it seems like every hose is molded to shape. Even ones that look like they're just hose off a roll.
I recommend either going to a dealer and buying OE water hoses, or buying a specific replacement from a reputable aftermarket supplier. And not (don't ask how I know - I'm trying to forget) the kind where they sell you a piece for one end, a piece for the other, and a coupler.
