I've searched the forums to little avail in finding help with my problem. I finally changed my coils. Now the car runs a lot better. Except when I'm at a stop or red light. The car has a heavy idling and in 6 out of 10 times I stop, the car just stalls. I really could use some feedback guys. Thx

 

check the vacuum lines coming off the intake, if there is a leak, i could cause the ecu to think that there is x amount of air coming into the engine, and inject y amount of fuel, but with the leak, there will be x+z amount of air entering the engine, but still only y amount of fuel

 

Checked all the hoses. They all look like they are where they need to be. I hope it's not something worst than that. BTW thx for the feedback. It's still idling rough and stalling at some stops.

 

also, clean your maf, that may be causing problems as well

 

I don't think its the K&N filter v1. I've had it for 3 years w/ no problems. This happenned a couple of days ago after I changed my coils. I've checked all my wires which are new, and the spark plugs which are new. Checked the vaccum hoses. I will clean my MAF sensor and let u guys know what happens. Thx for the feedback.

K&N Version 1 Suck.

I got it for hmm I dont remember maybe 2 months? As soon as Version II came out I bought that one instead and sold the old one on Ebay (for like 90% of the cost )

but the OP going to trade his car in because he said its giving him nothing but problems and he is out of warranty. so guess this thread should be closed.
