I saw the pics of something you have that I need......the tire trailer.....where did you get it from?? Would you get the same one again or try for something different? Thanks in advance.....

Hi Phlash.

It's a 4'X6' utility trailer. I bought it from Lowe's. I just use a ratchet strap to secure the toolbox I bought at Wal-Mart, to the front of the trailer which holds my helmet, racing shoes, magnets, cordless impact, alum jack, extra 5W20 and lots of little things like hand wipes, sunblock, mosquito spray, rainsuits, detailing spray, etc! lol. I stand up the wheel stack along the rear gate using straps & bungee cords to secure them. Tip: Line the bottom & rear of the trailer (under the tires) with cardboard or something. The trailer will leave "waffle marks" on race rubber! I can also fit an ice chest & folding chairs between the toolbox & wheels. Perfect fit!

NP. I bought the hitch from U-Haul & they installed it. I did have to modify it when I bought my RB exhaust. The hitch was made for a stock RX8. Here are som pics for you... Btw, it's better if you remove the centercaps from your spare set. That way you can run a ratchet strap right through the centers and that secures the wheels better. Otherwise, they shift and end up bouncing once you start driving. Also- I normally tape the wire harness for the lights to the bumper with masking/painter's tape so there's no rubbing. I bought this set up quite some time ago. There may be more options now. Good luck!
