Tiz the season. Sorry to hear about it; I think y'all got the worse part of that storm front. We had rain and wind, but not too much severe down here.

It came thru Georgia also. I left home to go to another part of the city and apparently 10 min later we had baseball sized hail. The bar right down the street had a skylight and a window smashed, some cracked windows in the apt complex.
I want to buy a stormproof car cover, but they are damn expensive. (for the hailproof) and I know it wouldn't do a damn bit of good if I didn't get it on in time.

meh, get it fixed, no big whoop. And I'm the king of hail damage by the way, in 05 I accumulated over 9k worth, here's the thread from back then:

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ht=hail+damage

This is the month for calamities to occur to my car, last year I got rear ended and hail damage all in one day right about this time, the year before was just hail damage.

Yeah, you can just park next to Canary to avoid hail damage. It seeks the poor guy out like little GPS guided bomblets. :-)

lol @ chrisbert

if it's just a few small dings here and there then just go to a reputable pdr place and have them fix it. Most minor dings can be taken out with no paint/body work

Agree, PDR should fix you right up. At least it did not turn out like some I saw in San Marcos after last year's beating. They had torn metal and broken windows!

I got hail damage too, its just I havent seen it yet. My car was at the body shop in the first place and they left the car outside. I had to take my car to the body shop that was in east plano right? I just knew I would enjoy going through the hassle of getting it all fixed. Good luck on getting you hail dammage fixed BTW. I am taking my car to another place, tell me where your going to take it.

Whenever I think about those pictures, a part of me dies.

I seem to have escaped damage Friday, even though my baby was sitting out in the hail (was at a seminar with no covered parking).

I just got my car back Friday night because of the last hail storm and then had to duck for more hail. I had to park under a veterinarian hospital...

No...I had to claim on my truck about 5 or 6 years ago and my insurance never went up.

My hubby's truck has dents all over it, but my Keeny was safe in the garage. I took pictures of the hail here...I should probably download them and post them so everybody can see. Biggest we got was golf ball size, but it was coming down really hard.
