Well, it's taken a couple weeks. After much deliberation between the MS and Vertex kits, I decided to install the - aero kit. I like the stock front and rear better than either of the kits and think the aero trim dresses the car up nicely. I took the 8 to Rosenthal and had them install the trims with the MS spoiler, RX8 B pillar trim, MS CAI and the MS catback exhaust - sounds great!
Last week I had the sound system upgraded a little and had my sub built in.
Today was wash, claybar and wax.
Next week she gets new shoes and I'll be good for the summer!

I like the Vertex a lot but I also like the AP (already have the parts bought)

 

I was actually thinking about installing the Vertex front and sides and the MS rear, but there are things that I don't like about both. I think the AP looks great and saves a little $ too = more mods

 

I agree, although I change my mind daily.

 

A little update - mainly to thank Tommy and Shawn (service dept.) at Rosenthal. The MS exhaust that was installed did not fit quite right - the left tip stuck out about 2" more than the right. The mechanic had gotten it lined up better, but it worked it's way back, so I gave Shawn a call today. He had me bring the car to the shop and they replaced the exhaust on the spot. It's really great to have people like this to deal with!!

 

I'm really happy I got the AP as well. Which MS exhaust system did you get?

 

I got the catback exhaust - as has been pointed out many times - it doesn't really do much, but it sounds great!

 

hey where did you get your stereo stuff installed from?

 

I took it to Tweeter in Vienna. I'm really happy w/the job they did on the install.
