Help me solve a mystery

Ok, so I'm nearing the completion of my turbo install and need some assistance.
The air mixing jet tube needs to be connected to the presurized pipe just before the throttlebody. But, the kit I got doesn't have any obvious place to connect the hose to on that pipe. It does have this coupler though...

see the little hole, could that be for the air mixing jet? It lloks really small, so I thought it was for something else. Then I see this included in the kit

(the black thing on top of the coupler)

So I thought the skinny end of the black thing goes into the coupler, and the air jet mixing tube is connected to the bit of vacuum hose.

A couple questions though...
1. If this is so, where should the wastegate signal go?
2. Wont the pressure leak, or pop the little black thing out?

This kit was previously installed at Mazsport, so they did these modifications. Does anyone here have such a little hole in their coupler that had their kit installed at Mazsport?

Please help, thanks.

Wow thats a blast from the past! During our early testing of the Greddy turbo kit we were monitoring boost pressure at several points in the system to determine pressure drops points etc.. Looks like a coupler used during testing that should be replaced.

A couple questions though...
1. If this is so, where should the wastegate signal go?
(I would suggest tapping the compressor cover near the turbo outlet and using a barb fitting for the wastegate signal)
2. Wont the pressure leak, or pop the little black thing out?
(Yes at some point it will, wont affect the way the car runs if you are using the Int-X but you really should replace the coupler)
This kit was previously installed at Mazsport (actually it was installed at another facility and then brought to Mazsport because it could barley be driven)
