Ferrari 599 vs Porsche Carrera GT & MBZ McLaren SLR...

Apparently the horses are a bit bigger in Germany (not to mention the big difference in weight with the CGT) vs. Italy

Ferrari 599 vs. Porsche Carrera GT

Ferrari 599 vs Mercedes Mclaren SLR

Edit: Second Link fixed

Porsche - 3000lbs

Ferrarri - 3700lbs

McLaren - 3900lbs

Video is pretty boring. It is not what I would try to do with those cars and proves nothing except a lighter car with the same power is faster. I am sure whoever buys the 599 had some other priorities in mind.

I would be interested in seeing them doing some lapping sessions.

The Porsche is my favorite supercar though. Amazing piece of machinery.

The 599 is not meant to compete with the CGT or the SLR, that is the Enzo's competition, the 599 is a GT car.

Not a price comparison, but the SLR is pretty much a GT car.

The Carrera GT is such an amazing car to me. It's a pure drivers car, manual gearbox without a lot of fancy gadgets. It's also quite dangerous and there's something sexy about a car that could kill you at a moments notice In addition it's the best sounding car ever made IMO.

Both the Porsche and Ferrari would have spots in my modern dream car garage, right next to the 911 Turbo, Elise, Z06, and of course...my 8.

My classic garage, well, that's a even longer list.

You can't go wrong with any of the above.

I love the Carrera GT though, that sound mesmerizes me!

The links above didnt work because you were missing the h in http btw.. i fixed it..
Anyway.. that ferrari has to be the ugliest i've ever seen. I hate to say that because I never thought there'd be a ferrari i didn't like and the enzo was pushing it, but that one.. is hideous..
