important question, i have a rx-8 and i want to instal the ipod car thing, however I do NOT want to change my deck and I want the highest sound quality. i tired the wireless tramissters, theyre horrible. My friend mentioned AUX modulator? Any info, prices, brands, would be very helpful. no one in town wants to help me!

 

Try getting Mazda's ipod integration unit.. Or Audio Link.. I myself don't have those but many members in here do. Search the forums.. I'm sure you'll find about 10+ more threads about ipod installation..

I have the Audio Link unit and love it. You get steering wheel functionality, playlist access with the disk + and - buttons, and still have control through the iPod itself (and god knows how my girlfriend loves to play DJ when she's in the car). The Mazda unit is very similar except you can't control it from the iPod itself, just steering wheel and head unit.
