19" TE37 Offset

Hello guys and gals,

I have done the search and still no closer to the answer to my question so please bear with the title that, I know, has been posted before.

Has anyone fitted TE37 19x9.5 all round?

What offset?

Any pics?

Any issues?

I am going to whack some white TE37's on my WB to start the new year Already dropped ~ 2" with some coils...

Any help much apprecited!!

Maz

there are 3 offset options in the 9.5. I will need to find out which offsets are to clear big brakes, have bigger lip, or possibly concave face.

+43 for big brakes, i know that one.

+44 and +45 are also options.

You got em all. Let me know when you're ready and i'll see if we can get you the best price.

thanks, rishie

Thanks Rishie!

The look I am going for is to have the rims sit flush with the fender F & R. I understand that this increases the chance of curb rash but its the price I must pay.

I am starting to think I have this all wrong what I want is to have the rims as flush with the F & R fenders as possible. Am I right to say that regardless of the offset the front lip remain in the same position? and the actual hub will appear to be further in, ie concave?

In terms of buying....I am ready now

Let me know what you can do.

Thanks again.

for the front you can go w/ a +43 offset, but the tire may rub the inside when u turn the wheel all the way. similar to 19x8.5 +30 but may rub more depending on tire size.

for the rear you can go with a +34 offset, but you will need a fender roll or fender shave, or else you will rub very badly.

those are the most aggressive you would want to go.

Thanks NgoRX8! I dont want to go too agressive as you said.

Surely there is a proven offset choice for these rims?

Is there no one out there with 19x9.5 TE37's on there RX8?

i believe, not on the front. most people with te37s on their rx-8s go 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear.

Red face

wow ok...any reason for that? comestic?

having re-thought my strategy I might just end up going with 8.5 all around...I will do a search for fitments but if anyone has front and back offsets for the 8.5 post em up along with any pics!!

thanks as always!

merry christmas from Oz...

All three should fit OK.....only 1mm each difference. Like Rishie said...you will need to look at the dish profile as well...but all three should be OK offset wise.......

you might be able to pull of 19x8.5 +30 all around. there is a chance for rubbing in the back, but it will go away with a fender roll. front is as i said before.

it would be a nice mix of looks and performance.

i am running volks with 19"x8.5 + 30 all around. i have rubbing in the front when i turn the wheel and rubbing in the back on big bounces or with heavy cargo, 3 passengers. I think in the near future i want to go to the proper offsets, +37 i think or +40 but still sticking to the 19"x8.5 all around. i might go with the LE37t with a gloss black spoke

get the rear fenders rolled lesper!

+35 on 19x8.5 TE37 is going to clear w/ no rubbing issues. but +30 is for the move aggressive look.

front is not really a big problem is it? i mean its not tearing anything. just the tire rubbing against the plastic and it isn't all the time either. i wouldn't worry about it. the rear is more of a problem because the fender is being stressed.

FYI- no one should do the ings front offset. you will get annoyed by it immediately. the rear is fine, but i dont think they fender rolled as they put more camber instead.

i'll be back in the office on the 2nd. Happy new year and merry xmas. Don't fret my friend. A GREAT FITMENT IS THERE.

In 8.5 with stock fenders in the rear you shuld be able to go down to a +33. Up front i'd say nearly the same. +35 to be safest.

Oh and to answer your question about the face of the wheel I would have to explicitly ask Mackin to make sure. There's no real way of telling from their offset chart.

Peace, rishie
