does any one have an HKS hybrid filter on there rx-8? or any other kind of filter other than k&N?

 

I have the green filter and I like it. Can't really feel much of a gain, gas is about the same, sounds just a tad louder than the stock filter. One of the positives I like about it is that I can clean it and resuse it.

 

Currently, HKS offers only a Racing Suction Reloaded Kit. I've been told that a Super Hybrid Filter (drop in panel filter) is in development!

That test was done in 1999... HKS has improved the filter elements since then.

 

can i put an apex i air filter in the 8. what about that green filter what kind,where?

 

Got my Green filter from autopartswarehouse.com. They shipped it pretty fast, no complaints from ordering from them. They have other filters they sell as well for the Rx8.

This "HKS Super Hybrid Filter" was never produced for the RX8. Bummer!

I am looking into air filter replacement as my oem one is becoming dirty. Any recommendation for drop-in filters only and where to buy it for a good price?
