Help! Wont Start

Hi, I am from the UK and had 2003 RX8.
Just been out for a short run got back and turned off the ignition. Then went to go out the next day and it wont start! The engine is turning over and I hear a tiny pop of it starting but never starts!

Is this a common problem and what do i need to do to get it running?

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

My guess is the engine flooded. I dont remember the steps to fix this off the top of my head but if you search "Flood" or "Engine Flood" or something like that I am sure you will get plenty of results. I hope this helps you some buddy

Hey man, from a quick search I founf that there is a deflooding procedure in the owners manual. If you dont have an owners manual PM me your e-mail address and I will e-mail the PDF version of mine. I cant post it here because its 8MB. Although my car is an 05, the procedure should be the same. Also when you get a chance take your car to your local mazda dealer and get the latest flashes to help prevent this from happening. Oh yeah if the car is cold when your about to turn it off, rev to about 3k for about 20 seconds and then turn the car off. that helps get rid of the fuel in the engine.
