e-brake light

hey guys, the past few days my e-brake light has been coming on and staying on when the e-brake is fully down, the break is not draging or anything, the light is just coming on, one time it came on when i went fast around a corner, anyone know what may be causing it, its just annoying

There is a switch connected to the e-brake, its loose, bad or needs adjustment. Remove the cover its an easy fix or might be covered under warranty. It could be your pads, how many miles do you have?

I had the exact same thing happen. The light came on right after going around a corner fast. The light stayed on intermittently for about a week. It turns out I need new pads. After new pads installed the light went away for good.
