I am not sure what the exact width of the rims are (They are listed as 7.5 or 8 on the manufacturer's site). What is the proper way to measure that? The rims came from the previous owner and I know they were used on the rx8 for one Winter so they do fit on an rx8. I cannot find the weight specs of the rims on the manufacturer's website. I can weigh them with the tires on them but not just the rims. If this information is really important to you, I can try to figure it out. May I ask why you would like to know the information?

I need a set of rims for autocrossing the car in BS. That means they have to be 18x8's and they need to be light for performance.

The tires and rims will go together since not in a hurry to sell so when the right buyer comes along I am getting rid of them all. Therefore, I do not plan on separating the tires from the rims as to minimize hassle.

To answer tucker1170's question:
Found stamps on the back of the rims and they are 18x8. Just sent the manufacturer an email on the weight - repost when info is available.

Is shipping an option (at buyers expense of course)? Specifically to KY (40601)?

I'll be happy to ship them. But will have to find out the shipping options and cost and get back to you - any suggestions on best way to ship 4 tires and rims would be great.

Shipping UPS ground is the best way to go. You can just tape two pieces of cardboard to cover the metal parts and ship them individually. I have found that $20 a wheel is good to most places from where I live (chicagoland).

Thanks for the update. I am curious as to what the weights will be.

Thanks tucker1170 for the tip. I have not received any reply from bsa yet so decided to send emails to other bsa dealers instead to see if anyone will have an answer. I found a good list of wheel weights here (http://www.superhonda.com/tech/wheel_weights.html) but no bsa 264s... so much for little work.

Oi, someone came up with the bright idea of finding out the weight of the tires and then weigh them all. Used a digital bathroom scale and average 50 lbs per tire. Each tire weight spec is 26lbs. Therefore, a rim weights approx 24lbs, which is just under 11kg (10.89 when calculated).

The rims were purchased with the Winter tires for Winter driving. I am not driving my 8 for the snowy season, but I do weight down my daily driver for the cold and the snow for better traction.

thanks for going through all of the trouble. It is a shame that they are so heavy. I like them but for autocrossing the car, weight is more important than looks. good luck with the sale.

Those wheels and tires are sold. Wish I could use them on my Stang. Snow was coming down today and roads were pretty bad.
