Just notice that the second of the two styles has a cover below
the openings to keep the rain water off the engine. (I guess??)
Which is nice, but this design will only pull air from the front of the engine
not over the engine which defeats the purpose of having vents on the hood in the first place....
Or has my brain taken a short vacation??? ...

Not to be a hard nose here but it looks like the "cover " (catch pan) is attached with pop rivets.
The "on - off" plan could be a pain in the you know what...
But, if the buyer installed "rivnuts" it would be doable....

I’ll be driving from southern California (north of L.A.) to northern California (Bay-ish area) and be there from 24-26 Dec. I could bring one or both hoods for folks that live there or are along the route. There is a $100 non-refundable fee to cover fuel to be paid in advance since I’d be using my truck that I otherwise wouldn’t drive.

[QUOTE=R3Dream;4990509]Any Chance you'll be doing this again in the spring/summer?
I could. I’m repositioning to spend more time in Cali in a few months. It’d be faster and probably cheaper in gas for you to drive down without a hood, install it on your car, then drive up.
