Why are you guys looking for this? I just want to be sure you really need it and it's not because either:

a.) you drove through high water and messed up the power steering connectors
b.) your coolant overflow hose dripped coolant onto the power steering connectors and messed them all up.

If you've simply lost power steering and aren't EXACTLY sure of the cause, then you better do some searches and make sure it's not just damp/corroded connectors first.

Just trying to save you money.

Yeah....99% of the time when people think (or are told) they need a new steering rack, they don't.

Search for the threads describing all the problems, and how to fix them. Or don't but it will needlessly cost you lots of $$$

gooooood luck

There is a Mazda TSB out for this problem, the connectors on the fan shroud have problems with continuity and there are 2 ground plates on the beam above the the fan shroud (they are the 2 10mm bolts under the battery box and airbox). Clean these grounds and check that big connector with the red and black wire, make sure they have good contact, before replacing your rack.

No direct TSB that I am aware of........... http://www.finishlineperformance.com....php?pageid=11

BUT.............There are plenty of threads on this with info and pictures to show them.
I just don't want them speding $1600.00 or whatever if they really don't need to do so.
There have been bad racks, but need to be sure first!
