Id like to have an RX-8, its my dream car. I've wanted one for a while now actually. Did a-lot of research on the car, and I'm finally ready to buy and commit to keeping it up and taking care of it. Location is Asheboro NC, 27205



Needs:

•At most, Minor problems, No Major damage or accidents (unless its a minor accident)

•To be able to drive from the place of sale to my home (or to be shipped for a fair price)

•No extremely major mods unless its to the exhaust.

•No big cosmetic mods like body kits, spoilers, things like that.

•id like the car to be as stock as possible.

•NO RUST





Wants/Preferences:

•Color I would like to be red but any other color is ok too, just wanted to put that out there

•Compression really depends. I can take a car with low compression as long as it drives. Im looking for something thats cheap and needs a little love, but not complete restoration type love.

•Interior would like to be leather, not cloth, but if you have a cloth interior still let me know. I still like them regardless.



I think thats all I can think of for now, but I'll update the post if I think of anything else. To be honest, my offer really depends on the car you got. blue book is over 6k it's only got 61k miles(original) few minor cosmetic blemishes, asking 4500 so the difference from blue book will cover anything needing repaired. But it's solid runs great just had it serviced and paid 1200 on service. New knitting could, spark plugs, etc.

Because you are open to a car with low compression, you should have more options. Being one of the last “cheap” sports cars out there makes the rx8 a real opportunity buy. However it seems even the rx8 costs more nowadays.

I assume or hope this will not be your primary vehicle. Once sorted, these cars can be fairly reliable however usually these are the cars that command more money. Your “I don’t have a lot of money” comment sort of rules those out. A cheap version will almost certainly need cash injection plus an owner that is mechanically handy. If you pay someone to do all the work on this car, the costs exceed the value quickly.

my car is 2004, red, two tone leather seats, some minor issues. I’m located in 64086. And car was in a wreck before I owned it. Repair was done by a friend (who I bought the car from) I do not know the extent of damage. It’s great shape now!
