Calling all MIATA GURU'S, quick question.

Im bidding on a Greddy oil cap on ebay, Im in the process of spiffing up the engine bay. Anyways, this oil cap was listed under RX8 but as I read on further, it came off of a 1995 Miata , is this truthful that this oil cap will fit on my 04 RX8?? Hopefully so, because Im about to win it........

BTW- I posted this in exterior appearance forum but no one answered so sorry for the double post.

Any input from the Miata guys here would be appreciated, thanks.

I think it will fit - BTW; you can make your own oil catch can for like 40 bucks...

Is that a metal oil cap? Not sure I'd want that, might get kinda warm.

Do you want it in black or blue? - Blue=Lowes and Black=Home Depot

Get a air water seperator for an air compressor; 2 3/8 npt barb fittings; hihg temp nylon line and a few hose clamps - and viola; an oil catch can which includes Drain Plug which the greddy does not have

Stops oil vapor (crankcase vent) from going back into your intake.

The 710 thing is just a joke, actually. It's just a regular oil cap, turned upside down. Oh well, I thought it was funny.

I had a miata (97) for a 4 years. but to be honest with you, i would think it would fit. because alot of japanese companies like to try to use same parts for all their cars. but sadly, i didnt see if my oil cap fitted on the 8 when i had my miata. sorry tc, i hope someone is able to answer your question.

trying to think waht miata forum i use to go to. lots of them had rx8 also there. if i remember , il post link. might can find answer there. wish i remembered the site

I would just spray paint yours if you don't like the yellow sand it down and put a few coats on it and you shold run into no problem (prob should use high temp paint)
