'08 GT M/T OEM springs - BASE MODEL UPGRADE
HERE IS A CHANCE FOR A BASE MODEL TO UPGRADE YOUR SPRINGS AND SUSPENSION HANDLING. I DID A LIL RESEARCH FOR YOU BASE GUYS...
I HAD MY OEM SPRINGS ON THE CAR FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS (SINCE I BOUGHT MY '08 IN MID JANUARY). I'M LOOKING TO LET THESE GO FOR $75 SHIPPED OR PICKED UP (NYC TRISTATE AREA). SO HOLLA @ YOUR BOY. EMAIL: JAKLY79@GMAIL.COM, AIM: KLEPTOTRD, OR CATCH ME HERE VIA PM.
THANKS FOR LOOKING.

Hey Krock,
Guess I'll chime in since I myself have a Base 04 A/T and already had the same thing done to my baby back in Feb.
Their is a ride hight difference but not by so much you'll be saying "OMG Ima Low Riderz nowz!" lol.. but I wish to say from looking at the springs when both where side by side was about .5 inch atleast. You'll feel the difference right away btw, the car will feel more confident in all aspects of driving. Mind you I also got the GT sway bars installed so I'm sure that helped alot. The sways are different also and again once installed the car felt well more planted overall. The base suspension to the GT is like night and day pretty much.
For comparison's sake before with the Base Suspension doing about 90mph it started to feel well light, like my car wanted to float around and stuff. Now it doesnt feel like that till about 110 or so (or so I'm told of course). Once I upgrade my rims and tires I'm sure this will all but disapear.

there is a difference to base auto and manual 6mt.....search the suspension threads.....stop thread crapping ...if you dont want it then move along......and for those inquiring about mileage i believe its <2k
Hey I got quoted for a sale whoohoo.
But yeah for any Base Auto Owners out there this is a decent and might I say cheap upgrade to take up. That or for anyone who is returning to stock and sold their stuff a decent parting gift for the dealer instead of your upgraded suspension. If your able to find GT shocks for cheap this is a decent stepping stone to upgrading your ride. That and the dealers will leave you alone (we all know that some label you as soon as they see a modification on your car ugh!) since these are OEM parts
I had the upgraded parts for a year now and I can't believe Mazda had the Base Model suspension set well so soft and high.

Chris, the actual exact milage is 1,514... but who's counting, lol.
But like I stated before I did some of the research (for you n00bs that don't know) - not being nasty at al since I'm still semi-n00b to the 8 community, but I didn't say I did all the research.
Thank you sir for pointing this out for everyone to "SEARCH".
