With so many Boston area 8s, and so many western CT 8s we should be able to get a decent turn out by Meeting In The Middle.

I will find us some decent roads to run - maybe a 2 hour drive. And then we could head to Newport for some good photo opps. With all the mansions and a few parking areas by Brenton Point looking out at nothing but the Atlantic we should be able to get some nice shots.

I was looking at either Saturday 9/22, Saturday 9/29 or Sunday 9/30. Some feedback on the dates please!

Note: Sunday's I'm now on NFL time - the Pat's have a Monday night game on 10/1 - so there's no conflict on that Sunday. If the Sunday 9/23 would be best for all we can do that - but don't ask me to like it!

Opps, did not read dates in here. Everyone coming from the south could cruise up together to the canal. I lived in Warwick, RI for several years. Cruised Newport plenty of times. Other than the shops, is there anything else to do? The mansians are nice to walk through, too bad we can't drive up to them for a photoshoot.

There are some you can drive up to +/- park in lots right next to them. I'll see which ones I can pull right up to this weekend.

I don't mind combining the 2, but that kind of negates the "meet in the middle" part of it for the CT members. We'll see what kind of response each meet gets this week and decide.

 

Most likely quitting my job so who knows what hours I'll be working by the time either run comes about but I'll keep you all posted. I just want one more Run in before Winter comes.

There's more interest in the Cape Run - so let's hold off on RI for now. But we can definitely meet up and cruise out to the Cape.

For RI I would say meeting around Colt State Park and cruise to newport.
