RCCAZ run sun 11-20

Everyone:

Just wanted to get a quick note out to everyone reminding you that our Second Annual Turkey Trot and Rotary Romp out to Tortilla Flats is this Sunday, November 20th. Departure time will be 11 am from Cardinale Way Mazda just off of Superstition Springs Blvd exit and US 60.

Cardinale Way Mazda
6343 E Test Dr
Mesa, AZ

From there we’ll head out to the Apache Trail (AZ SR 88) and will work our way through the twisties enroute to Tortilla Flats. Following a short stay at the Flats, we’ll make our way back into the East Valley to stop for a late afternoon lunch

Unfortunetly Tim "RCCAZ 1" will not be able to head up this event as his wife is ill. I will be heading up this run for him, ill post back with more details just wanted to give a heads up.

Update it was a good run with 13 people total, 2 3rd gens, a vert, a repu and 5 Rx8's
The twisties were fun along with hearing stories of this months catastrophies, i.e speeding tickets and accidents that have happened recently. Hope everyone made it home safely.

Thanks to all that attended!

I wish I could have made the run BUT! I did see some of you coming back from your run and flashed my lights at ya. It's sure neat to see more and more 8's showing up at the RCCAZ events. I didn't get to meet the owners but that white was sure purdy The Shinka that showed up on everyone's way out was Dizzy I think it was. I gave him the website info etc to get here so hopefully he'll stop in and say hello.

Eric thanks for heading this up today and I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!

Some Photos of the Run for Those That Did Nor Make It

Some quick shots of our run to Tortilla Flats and our entertainment during lunch.

It was fun!

Sorry we missed you Shannon and Tim!

I plan to do that drive some time when it is less busy...

Here's a few pics I snapped off on Sunday. SO GOOD to see everyone. Sorry I couldn't make the drive out and back. I wanted to win a door prize!

If they post in the order I selected them then we have:
#1 Obligatory booty shot left to right we have Black, Ti, Ti, Nordic Green
#2 Ode to the beautiful Nordic Green!
#3 Ya have to love the Rotary Truck! That little guy keeps remarkably good pace with the rest of the rotaries I might add...
#4 A few RCCAZ members gearing up for the Sunday drive
#5 Our first Whitewater Pearl in the gang. LOVE IT!
