relax bro, Mikes car is badass and he's a cool guy. We actually spoke for a while during 7 stock and I even kicked it with him the majority of the time last 7 stock. What people are trying to say is that there were other cars out there that had twice the amount of work done to their cars but came up a little short. For example, sure Danny won last year but this year he came back with an entirely different turbo piping setup not to mention a new exhaust and a tucked engine bay. 95% of the work was done by his own hands. Thats dedication and people like danny, jorge, tim could give a f#ck about being featured by all those hype blogs. I give Mike props for having insaneheel fitment but many of you nuthuggers need to understand that hellaflush illest and all those other hype blogs are not the final word.

mike told me he's pushing 211 at the wheels na, thats a lot considering the majority of 8's barely break 190whp. Not saying he didnt deserve it cause I know he was a major contender but as far as 7stock judging goes there needs to be more categories and a better judging panel.
just sayin bro aint nobody mad its just funny what people say, hahaha, yeah them turbo rx8s were tight but i mean just cause u got turbo means thats twice the amount of work? mikes car has a maxed out n/a does that mean just cause its n/a he would autmatically get dismissed from the conversation. i agree that them sites dont have the final word but nor do the people on this forum.

The only Black Cherry Shinka that made it to the show area...due to my late arrival (lol) mine was relegated to the main parking lot.

I gave up on looking for "quality" modded 8's too long ago, nowadays slapping on cheap mods seems to be the way to go for so many. I'd have to say other roataries look down on 8 owners because the rx8 takes much less "passion" to own than, say, a modified FB. Either way, it just seems some owners don't wish the spend the time or money to really do things right, but choose cheaper routes or alternatives.
There definitely were a handful of amazing 8's out there, that can't be denied
How were the courtyard 8's chosen? I don't know if I'd exactly consider the choices all to be on the same level, to put it nicely.
So many pictures around, I'm not going to bother posting mine. I wanted to take pics of the drive-aways like last year but didn't have the opportunity to, gf wanted to leave early

7 stock needs to judged based upon points. There also needs to be other categories for each chassis. Best engine bay, best paint, best wheels, etc etc. There was a year when of all people Razz won best rx8, how he won that year I still have yet to find out.

Geesh. So the white 8 won an award? Clean car but hardly up to par for a car show from what i have seen. Does anyone have any pics of the engine bay, brakes, etc? Or is it just a dropped 8 with clean wheels?

and he has stock tuning except for raised rpm limit and cooling fan on timing.
there's more in there. maybe 230. i know there are a few series 2 engines that have hit 280 at the flywheel. race engines are making 260-265 at the fly. i cant see anyone finding more than 230 wheel on a street car.

More than half you so you called hella flush guys didn't even know shyt about offsets 2-3 years ago and now you guys are so quick to call people out on their offsets. The world does not evolve around hellaflush illest stancenation and all those other hype blogs.
hey tilt did you see my 3 in the lot. haha well with all this being said i agree with you while there were alot of nice cars there were also alot of wack cars like seriuosly how did some make it in the courtyard couple of them looked like 4x4's with body kits and looked like it was about to fall off and all that fast and foolish good for nothing bling not everyone had turbo and oh so cool lambo doors and neon lights lol sorry but keep them doors on a lambo lol and why do people but like works and volks some baller rims and get some wack offsets? HELLA WACK u spendin all that money **** still looks hella sunk should of just stuck wid the stock wheels.lol

of course the term "hella" has been around for years way before hellaflush. But in the rx8 world whether you like it or not it's not very popular around here so get used to it. BTW I dont even own my rx8 anymore but saying that the hellaflush style is representing in a positive way is false.
