I so don't envy the Socal organizers ... I am sure everyone that can will make every effort to attend ... It is the Premier Rotary event .... period ... and who the hell wouldn't want to be there. But time can become an enemy for the organizers and those that wish to attend. I for one am very much looking forward to SS14 and enjoying the cars, repu's and fellow rotorheads.

Well here we are into August and still no date for Seven Stock 14. Am I missing something?

 

I say we postpone it till the beginning of October, since I don't get back from deployment till the end of September

But as much as I would hate to miss it, I'd be more disappointed if it didn't happen at all...

 

Lots of speculation out there regarding SevenStock and why a date hasn't been announced but I can tell you this.

The SoCal RX club has run into MAJOR hurdles this year with the planning of the event including a difference of opinion with other 'involved parties' (read between the lines) but fear not; planning is continuing and Bern should announce something soon as more details emerge.

Hang tight guys, we all want an SS14 .

If MNAO is not involved this year, you have two problems. Finding a spot to handle the expected attendees and insurance. Finding space on such a short notice would probably be the biggest hurdle.
