Only negative thing I have to say about the event is that I didn't get to go...

Didn't have enough time to plan the trip. Would LOVE to attend 15, if it happens, but I will have to start planning now...drive from Houston, TX would require me to take vacation from work...which would not be a bad thing!

Props to all that help make these things happen. I for one know the time and effort that goes into planning large events like these...and it isn't easy!

i gotta say atilla, you trying to unlock your car from the key fob with the battery disconnected was priceless. but what made it better was that you tried the same thing again shortly after failing the first time haha!!

good times.

This was actually the first Sevenstock I've ever attended. I wanted to go to the original date this year, but was unable to make it. I actually learned about this new date and location the day before.. news to me, I thought I had missed Sevenstock a while ago lol.

For having to change their plans last minute from something they've done for years, I would think it was a great turn out. It shows dedication that they still put the show on out of their pockets and that so many people did still show up, regardless of all the crazy fees and location change. I was happy to donate back at the booth I also knew it wasn't their fault that the venue was so overpriced with food & parking.. that's pretty much the case for those types of places.

But hey, what do I know.. I'm just a newb.

DiamondEyez, we had to scrammble and put in a ton of work to make it happen but so far most of the feedback has been pretty positive.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the event as well.

I'll say this much in retrospect...

Anyone who feels overly critical (posted or not) should look earlier to see that a $20,000 (that's twenty thousand for the kids at home) dollar gamble on this event. Loans, AND personal debt! This wasn't someone else's money...it was money of those who are part of the Socal RX group. If you think you could have done a better job I hope you're willing to make a $20k bet on that.

It is one thing to spend even just a couple grand to put on a car show which is already very difficult to do as my local car club experience has taught me. It is another thing to spend 20 g's in advance hoping that the turnout in cars and spectators will make up the difference.

Again, great job guys. Ballzy.

Believe me I know exactly how it goes. We (Vegas 8s & Sin City Rotary) are fortunate that the sponsoring hotel covers the insurance for our event as part of the room costs. All other costs are out of pocket with the hopes that the turnout will good. Personally I was impressed with the event and the organizers professionalism.

He doesn't really own that BMW as a D.D. It's a Crossfire.

This wa my first SS and to be honest I was overly satisfied with it! So we had to wait a bit to gy inside big deal. I spent that time getting to know my fellow 7 & 8 owners. The waiting was like already bein at the show. I looked at all the others waiting and really enjoyed myself. As for turning cars away that happens at any show I've been to. That's why you get there early. Its first come first serve no shock to me. Sure there were a few snags, but it was a large event it happens. Way to go those who planned and helped put this on!! I look forward to a future SS and what it will bring.

After all the madness that happened I will say this...

Can't wait for Sevenstock 15 I know it'll be bigger, better, and there will be plenty of support from the community. To Bern and the rest of the organizers thanks for keeping this event alive and strong

What's wrong with doing both? They are far enough apart. Sure hate to see you miss WHiV5.
