Help Wanted - Engine for S/C Display
Hi all,
I've made it known that I intend to show off my latest Renesis Supercharger developments, and I'll be bringing the "kit" with me, in what is basically final pre-"series-production" components.
I was hoping I might be able to borrow a Renesis engine that I can bolt my kit onto. It will be a little inconvenient for me to have to ship one of our engines to the US when I'm sure there are perfectly adequate ones locally.
All I need is basically the complete "block" with a crank (um - eccentric shaft) installed (no need for rotors to be in) and the front pullies, including waterpump and generator, as well as the intake manifold. No reall need for the A/C compressor. A coil pack would be good, but that is something I can easily take with me.
Do you reckon somone at MNAO would be able to help out? An engine stand might be handy as well - I don't think mine will fit in my luggage :o
PM me or email me if you can help and want to remain anomymous.
Cheers,
Hymee.

Theres a couple Rotary shops here in SoCal that might be able to help out. (if Mazda can't pony one up for you)
Check with R.R.R. (Rotary Reliability and Racing aka Fast Freddy's Mazda)
Hymee: any chance you'll have Scanalyzers with you with a "SevenStock only" discount?

Yeah - I was considering that - quite possible could fit one to a car, but it would make for a more interesting display seeing it on an engine and getting a good close look. Plus the fact that I reckon I would have a really tough time taking it off whoevers car I put it on!

Thanks guys for the tips. I picked up a engine today from anew buddy who works in a hot rod shop in Valencia.
I'll try to get small stable table tomorrow, and an umbrella / tent an some chairs from Home Depot.
I'm here safe and sound, surpercharger and all.
Cheers,
Hymee.

In the end, I could have had two engines on display. Many thanks to the Berny, the organiser, for lining me up with a complete engine from Mazdaspeed. You guys rock. Sorry I didn't need it in the end. I wonder if MS would have let me keep it though :D
Thanks to all my stateside supporters who helped me get there, and make such a great display. I litterally arrived in LAX with a S/C kit in my bags, and little else.
Cheers,
Hymee.

Power!!
Glad you arrived back home safe and sound. It was great to meet you Hymee! Your supercharger installation is super clean. We all look forward to seeing the completed kit.
Thanks for the technical seminar as well. You had a very good message.
