Nice Adams09rx8. How is the staggered fitment working out? I'm still trying to decide if I want to go staggered or not.

I haven't noticed that much of a difference but it definitely doesn't break lose as easy. It doesn't seem to over steer quite as easily either. If you went with 245's front and 255's rear that would probably be ideal. 275's in the rear is definitely overkill but I love the way it looks.

My apologies in advance. It's not my intention to hijack this thread but I'm unsure if I should post here, start a new thread or post in the Series 1 "Will It Fit Thread".

After reading through 50+ pages of the Series 1 "Will It Fit Thread" as well as some other threads, I've decided to go with 245's all the way around. Unfortunately, I'm more confused now than when I started about tire profile, wheel diameter, wheel offset, etc.

I'm looking for some advice on sizes that will accomplish the following:

1) Would like to go from the stock 18's to 19" wheels.
2) Would like to run 245's all the way around.
3) Would like to get a "deep dish" look if that makes sense.
3) Tread wear is more important to me than performance. (I would like to get a minimum of 30k miles between tire changes)

My car specifics (other than my sig):

1) Stock suspension and ride height.
2) Daily driver with the occasional spirited driving on the freeway and on tight mountain roads.

If I'm understanding what I've been reading, I'm thinking the following:

245/35/19 all season performance tires.
19x9 +40 wheels (although this is where I'm more confused than where I started). I'm thinking I need to go with a +20 or less offset to get the "deep dish" look I'm after but I get the impression that would require rolling fenders and/or severely adjusting camber.

Again, if I should move this to a new thread or the Series 1 "Will It Fit Thread", let me know and I'll repost accordingly.

I'm not an expert on wheel's but I'm pretty sure the deep dish look isn't just from offset but it is mainly dependent on the wheel manufacture. For example Advan has two model's of the RS wheel. They have the RS and the RS-D, the D meaning deep dish. From what I understand the +20 +30 or whatever you end up getting will determine where the edge of the wheel will line up with the fender. The offset is also different for different width wheels from what I understand.

I'm not 100% sure on the offset part but hopefully this helped clean up some of your confusion.

These are my TSW Tanaka 255/45/19 all the way around on stock suspension, I plan on getting 245's next and getting coilvers... sorry for the cell phone pics

@Adams09rx8 Thanks, that helps a bit. I'll definitely remember that the offset determines where the edge of the wheel lines up.

@M Pizle, what are your wheel specs? I like how your tires are even with the fenders. That's pretty much the look/style/effect I'm going for.

They're 19x9.5 +40 all the way around (light rub on the fronts when I turn)

next tires I get will be 245's and Im hoping to drop it when I get them

and last but not least I enjoy the black/red combo haha Idont really like chrome accents that much anyway, also its my car my style

Yea I took the inner fender liner things off and grinded down part if the metal piece that sticks out and now its all good haha

So after looking at all the pics, I am really looking to do something like post #210, the Blue with the yellow rims, anyone have the info on that setup. I don't really like the stretched look, but the dish on those is exactly what I am looking for, set up like GoddessHunter's (post #158) but with either 18's or 19's. I need a setup where I dont have to roll anything. So, with all that being said, anyone have any idea what I sizes I should get? What rims are on the Blue 8? And offsets to get the look as close to Goddess Hunters as possible (flush)?

18x10+38 (245/40) rear 18x9 33 front (235/40???,with the 15mm spacers they are flush). tires came with the wheels. been wanting to run 265's for the rear. no fender roll yet..however with those fatter tires i will have to.

another one thats not so dark so you can see a little better.

Looks great...

So happy to see owner has not added or installed Mazda's (R3) Side Skirts,
they would have to the worse design and looking thing Mazda has ever put on a car,
they just don't look right, at all, like a square piece of 4x2 tacked on, what were they thinking?
Plus they lose the profile of the cars design under the doors.
