Windshield washer dead

Hello all,

I downloaded the Series 2 electrical system file as supplied by Ash8 years ago. Unfortunately I’m trying to decompress it (*.rar file) on an IPhone - no go.

I've looked at the Series 1 diagram which I understand isn’t good for our model.

The trouble I’m having is the windshield washer doesn’t spray. The headlight washer does spray with no trouble. I disconnected one of the fluid lines and still no spray (nozzles not plugged).

Is there a fusible link in the line somewhere? The wipers work fine. From what I can see there’s a common fuse for the wiper motor and windshield washer pump.

I’m hoping there’s something separate fuse wise for the windshield washer pump motor. Otherwise I’m buying a new pump.

Thanks. I guess having long pockets and short arms isn’t going to work out for this car. Will dig out my wallet again. 🤑

$38 at local Mazda dealership and 20 minutes later a clean windshield without relying on the local squeegee guy in the median.

Come to think of it, the local constabulary seem to have run off most of the fellows who used to frequent the medians.

they’re probably getting fat & lazy off the government teet due to the Covid shutdown-hysteria hoax.

Not in my neighbourhood. They camp out in the bush by the railroad tracks and shoot up in the walkway beside my house. Still getting exercise walking around looking for stuff to support their habitat.

Government provides safe injection sites yet doesn’t supply a warehouse for the resultant zombies. Have large encampments full of brain injured addicts living in tents and tarps. As always a half assed approach to a social problem.

If I ever get my old guy house you’re invited to sit on the front porch for a pleasant rant about how the world is going sideways. It’s one of my daydreams to have a row of Stadler and Waldorf types (hecklers from the Muppets) on my porch.
