Passenger door lock(or the door) opens at 80 mph
Hi everyone,
I was driving on the highway at around 80 mph today, and when passing 80, passenger door motor starts clicking several times, door open light showed up on the dash, and reading lights turned on and off, which was quite scary. I pulled over, opened and closed front and back door firmly to be sure. Kept driving, however same thing happened around 80 mph.
Never heard anything like this before... Any ideas?
Btw my driver door lock is defective for long time, it unlocks on second or third attempt most of the time...
It is a 2010 s2...

Also, the door open light on the dash shows up when this happens. Not sure if that light turns on when doors are unlocked with remote...Giving me the impression its not only alarm/door lock trigger issue, but the door really opens, even if there is no sign of it because of high speed
tell her if shes gonna jump to stop wasting time lol
have you checked the latch where it meets the striker on the rear door? does it move freely? is it over greased not causing it to fully close?
i would replace the drv lock if its messed up, could be causing some issues so why not eliminate it as a problem
