Engine Swap 2011 into a 2005
On craigslist near me i found a great looking well taken care of Rx8 without an engine in it. I then found an engine on craigslist as well which was from a 2011 Rx8 which had been in a wreck. The Rx8 without the engine is a 2005. How difficult would it be to put the 2011 engine into the 2005 Rx8? Would it be a direct swap as the mounts are nearly the same? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
