Ideas to keep engine fuse box lid closed

The latch or clips on my S2 engine fuse box are broken from the DPO who owned the car. Any ideas to keep the cover closed tighter given that it cannot be banded closed using zip ties?

I think the latch is on the bottom part. Mine is also broken from the previous owner.

It seems like it's a rather expensive replacement.
