I remember something about this now, you have to add that weird 00 header. It is buried in the getting started section. I think it has to be in ASC format.

Sorry, it needs to be HEX values.

That tripped me up too. I think it also has to be connected to something for it to do anything as well. Let me know if that doesn't work, I am sure anyone reading here may run into the same problem, including me.

yeah, i've got all that sorted out... I'm hex savvy. The problem is mere communication pass thru of the Canbus over BTLE vs USB.

Did you make any progress with your experience? I started digging into the list of stuff I want to do to my 8, so it won't be long now before I customize my setup and add a fulltime Canbus monitor/computer.
