S2 Turbo fitment issues

Does anyone know the fitment issues with the s2 for a turbo kit ???

i tried searching and i cant seem to see anyone talking about it

Not really sure if anyone has tried to fit a turbo yet...due to the unavailability of tuning.

i know you cant use a cobb but i would assume that a greddy emanage or another piggy back system would work just fine

I wouldn't recommend any system to control an rx-8 with FI of any year unless it had full fuel and ignition controls. It seems to me that a lot of people are hesitant to turbocharge S2 rx-8's simply for the fact that the accessport isn't available for it....yet. There are many of full standalone systems available that would do just as good if not better in some cases...

that and most are brand new under warranty.

Really? I wasn't aware of that. Well I guess that leaves a door open for another plug and play unit to grab the tiny market...

yeah.. there's a post from Mazdamaniac with a link to a cobb posting about not supporting the s2.

any piggyback can be used, just needs the proper tuning

what body kits is that ?
seems like the kits for fog lamp is different as well ..
very nice 8 btw
