2009 RX-8 R3 fog lights....
Hi guys. I need some help about fog lights...
1. I researched all night, and i found the fog light bulbs for 2009 RX-8 is 9006.
But, I also found that Series 1 owners are using H11 bulbs, and i was wondering
if i can use H11 bulbs for my car. (Which one is more brighter?)
2. I am trying to buy the bulbs from either V-Leds or Hoen. Which one do you guys think better?
3. Do you guys know how to install the fog lights? I could not see any DIY to install the fog lights for S2 owner except that i found it from manual book. But, it seemed fairly easy to do it compared to Series 1. Please help me out guys..
Thank you in advance, and please excuse my grammatical error since my English is second language.

OK ...
I can not help you with other brands of Fog Light Globes/Lamps...BUT...
Series II Fog Globes uses HB4 (51W) and are not the same as the Series I which uses H11(55W).
Series 1... Maz# 9070-37-550 H11 12V55W (same as 2009 MX-5)
Series 2... Maz# 9970-37-550 HB4 12V51W (same as CX-9, 09 Mazda 3)
S2 Fog Light outer chrome cover (stripe) cover body must be pulled straight out (held in with clips one each side), then it exposes 3 screws, remove, the lift Fog Light up and out (watch your Oil Coolers), turn Lamp around and replace the Globe, reinstall Fog Lamp.

Voids warranties
I went through this about a month ago. The parts guy I got my yellow bulbs from first ordered me the H11 bulbs. They don't work on series 2 fog lights. They fit into the housing but the plug is different. You need the 9006 bulbs.
I found it was easier to unplug the socket from the bulb before removing the housing. With them still plugged in it was difficult to get them past the oil cooler.
The bulb I went with is Putco Pure Jet Yellow 3000k. I am very happy with them. I got exactly to look I was looking for. Plus I did the fog light rewire in the diy section.

Good Maybe so, but as I said H11 are not for Series 2 Fog Lights...never have been.
S2's use HB4 not H11.
One cant help auto shops that have out of date cross reference information
