My R3 Plans

Well it seems the Series 2 part of the forum is dead, I understand why, just thought I would let everyone know my plans for my $6k R3
Have- BHR midpipe, BHR ignition, Racing Beat Header ( all used local member 3k miles) he is doing a REW swap.

Plan- Racing Beat Intake/Revi, BHR flywheel, Unorthodox Pulleys, HKs Hi-power, Bilsteins, TEIN COILS.

Pulleys and flywheel are just for driving enjoyment no power adders. I have done these mods on.....

I like the AEM intake personally. Yes they rx8 forums in general are dead. Were since the start. But I plan in trying to be more active on them personally. Side note.. worldwide there are very few series 2 rx8’s. That is another reason why this section is so dead. Nice car, love the R3.

There is not much you can gain from the intake. If you like the sound and have the cash then go for it.

There are fewer than 17k S2 RX-8 worldwide.

True.. not much HP gain from either intake. And yes the AEM one is loud. I have it on one rx8 already. No complaints.

Let's be honest, pulleys are for viewing pleasure. I don't know about all those engines, but you couldn't tell if a renny had pulleys or not from driving it. And also, if they're underdriving the water pump, that's not great.
