KS Intake and Exhaust Mod?

Hey folks.
I have a manual transmission 2009 RX-8 with about 36,000miles on it. I'm looking to modify its intake and exhaust. What's the best brands/models out there?

Oh I see what ya did there . Old joke but oh so ture haha. OP read the stickies and you will see that intake and exhaust will not do much for power, but is more about the sound/look you want. Just go with a reputable brand and research the sound.

The pretty much the only intake that'll help is the AEM intake. As for exhausts you can pretty much get anything, but only Racing Beat makes an S2 specific catback.

I would say only racing beat makes an affordable catback for the s2. Everything else you have to order from Japan right?

Given that the OP is asking about a very general topic, I really doubt he's gonna get a catback from Japan. As far as most people on the S2 forum, the Racing Beat catback is the only realistic option designed for the S2 8.

you never know, theres no need to make a reply in a thread with false information, it just leads to more confusion when a noob searches (yes, 7% actually search before posting a new thread)

and with $100-200 you can even make an exhaust from a WRX fit the rx8.

So, What about Billy Boat Performance Exhaust? Does anyone have experience with it? Ultimately I'd like an improvement in performance/HP but I wouldn't mind a nice low sound at idle, too.

No catback will get you noticeable gains. I don't have any first hand experience with the B&B exhaust but from a clip on YouTube it sounds pretty nice.

What about them? What are you asking? TC and SC are not mythological magazine items. They do exist.
