One of the great things about our cars is that the styling flows. Both inside and out. IMO I think that if you go with 20" rims, it will just look wrong, as in the wheels will look too big for the car. 19" is as far I I'd go. I have 245/40/18 SSR Comps and I think the 245 works really well. Initially I was wanting to keep with the stock size, but tyre choices and cost made me go with a more popular size. Overall I'm glad I chose the 245s, looks just about right.

my 2c worth

another of dont get 20" discussion

trust me, having had 19" and 20" within a short period of time, there are NO major deductions in performance, in fact, there are f'ing all.

i'd strongely suggest to go with 18" if you are a keen track person, other than that 19" of 20" doesnt make any difference on the streets

this is what i had/have atm:
for 19" staggered setup - front 245/35 and rear 275/30
for 20" setup - 245/35

tip: for TLGP, turn off your tracktion control

235/35 Fr and 255/35 Rr?? are you aware that they are different diameters?? having said that, I guess it's hard to get the exact same sizes when you go staggered, and i suppose thats sorta the point
But getting back to my opinion... In my mind that will work, it may not be quite my style but it's not my car. Having run out to my car and tried to picture 255s from the rear, it would still work.

Ezzy's setup is FAT in every sense of the word... btw have you looked at omicron's thread about the PZero M+S. He has some nice pics of some 245 from the rear, it should give you and idea of what 255s will look like.

On aside note, about your other thread re: wheels. Black cars work best with chrome(bling bling!!), silver like OEM, black with chrome lip. again just my 2c worth.

have you had a chat with connor from tire rack?? I didn't talk to him but had a good experience with my SSR Comps and Pilot PS2s from TireRack.com. I can highly recommend them D:D very helpful even from half way around the world.

Your gonna look silly like a TOY CAR with wheels that big.

Not to mention you will go slow as hell.

I think my Volkwagaon can beat you with 20" rims.

I don't ever think it's just one thing that does this. I beleive the 8 can look quite nice with 20" wheels if everything is done right. i.e. each component is selected with careful consideration of other parts.
Personally 20" wheels aren't my style. As for performance, lets not go there. I'm sure there are 20" wheels that are at least as light as the stock OEMs.
With the logic that you've just presented, does it mean that I can whip your sorry a$$ cos I have 16lbs SSR Comps?? I think not.

Personally I think wheels are a cosmetic thing 90% of the time - so you "toy car" comment may be valid in your opinion.
