Anybody running these on their RX-8? I know there are not summer high performance tires but I'm haveing a hard time getting past the 60,000 mile warrenty since I plan to own this car for many more years. That is twice the life of anything else as far as I can tell.

Thanks,
jtdwab

I just put some on yesterday. The car definately feels a bit disconnected compared to the stock tires, as if it's slightly floating I guess is the best way to describe it.

But still it corners well, it's very smooth and quiet, the seams on the highway concrete don't punish you - if you use this car like a normal human would, these tires are great.

I'll probably experiment with the air pressure it's set to 32 now , maybe a little less will feel better.

I'm not sorry I bought them though.

well it's 2 and a half years later and time to replace them. I 've got 55K on the car, so I didn't get 60K out of them. HA.

But then I 've not rotated them as much as I should either.

i'm still running Goodyear Eagles. They are okay but not the best. Few thousand more miles and I will try something else. Not sure what though.
