work wheels are amazing and expensive...
but those you guys are considering, are mainly casted, if I can remember correctly. This means they are a bit heavy.
go for forged monoblock wheels, if you want to spend some money and save some weight. What I mean? work emotion CR. Seen it in dark chrome color on a red 8 and it was one of the best setups I've seen!! I was between the emotions and the ce28 volks, but I finally choosed the volks

Wrong. Work meister s1 wheels are not casted. They are forged.
SSR professor wheels are casted, so they are heavy and chip easily.
Anyone who talks crap about work wheels should go to #$%^.
They obviously don't know much about quality of work wheels.
18x8 work wheels weigh approximately 18-19lbs.

I absolutely love these rims. Will probably save up and try to get them in a couple years.

I have 19" Meister S1 3 Piece wheels in stock that I'm selling at cost. I brought them over just to take pics of the RX8 and maybe do a GB but doesn't seem like anyone has money.

They are black face polished lip and selling them for $2400.00 plus shipping. Brand new, just mounted tires on them for pics on the car.

Thanks, Rishie

you got me wrong there bro. I didn't talk crap about work wheels... on the contrary, I said I was ready to buy a set. if you say that the s1 are forged... fine, I won't argue.

when you state "18x8 work wheels weigh approximately 18-19lbs" you gotta say which ones, cuz not all wheels are the same. still, my 18x8 ce28 volk weighs 3-4lbs less than the lightest 18x8 work out there

You do know that most of WORK wheels are SCF right? Spun Cast Forged. Cast center and forged barrels.

Only time WORK has full forged is when they say it in their descriptions.

For example the current WORK REZAX Forged.

The old RSZ-R were also full forged.

Next time, research a little further. Or buy more wheels to know how they are made.
