Those tires should fit without stretching or anything right?

I know I need to get a fender roll. What places would do that? Would most tire places be able to or would I need to go to a more specialized place? I know I could rent the stuff and do it myself, but I'd rather someone who knows what they're doing (and can be held responsible for any mistakes) doing it... Thanks for the help!

i would bet those will fly without a roll. but the rear is going to be stretched. i dont get it..

beers

Youll need to get the fenders rolled

how sure are you about the roll? I've heard both and cant seem to figure out for sure.

I'm currently thinking of doing 245 front and 255 rear but might go with 255 for both...

Your rears will rub with the 245 setup. 245 is not really a stretch

Ok lookin at some new wheels.

I'd like to run 18x9.5s all around. The wheels come in the following offsets:

12, 20, 30, 35, and 48. What would be recommended for front and rear.

Also, what is the recommended tire size for a drop on S. Techs?

dannobre 12-26-2008 07:32 PM

You can run either the 35 or 48 offset..

Less trouble with the fenders on the 48..

35 will likely need a roll with wider tires...48 you can run 275 no problem

jae one 12-27-2008 08:02 PM

stock rims stock suspension
Whats the widest tire size i can get

TopGear8 12-27-2008 08:08 PM

^On the stock wheels you wouldnt really want to run anything over 245's. You could do 255's...but I wouldn't recommend it.

With the 35 offset, what would be recomended for tire size? 255s front and rear?

Will be on S. Techs just for a reminder.

255 would be good, you might not even rub with that tire size. You can run up to 275.

18X8 +35 225/40/18 front
18X9 +15 265/35/18 rear

Currently on an fd rx7 - will they fit my 8 without rolling fenders ?

I can run a 275 out back without rubbing on a +35 18x9.5?

Maybe....depends on drop.......might need to roll fenders...

Brettus 12-28-2008 06:41 PM

The first post on this thread needs to have a diagram that shows how all this works .....

The car will receive Tein S. Techs. So should I run like a 265 out back with a 245 up front?

Jedi54 12-28-2008 08:05 PM

alright, new sizes:

Front: 19x9 +35 - tire: 254/35
Rear: 19x10 +42 - tire: 275 / 30

lowered on Koni + S-techs
Thoughts?

You know I was thinking my 255/35 setup was a touch too wide so perhaps 254/35 is the way to go ;)

dannobre 12-28-2008 09:35 PM

Rims should fit OK...why the staggered tires/rims...run the 10" on all 4 corners :)
