A friend is trying to sell me his dunlop m3 tires on that size... i was wondering if it works for rx8 with tein-s springs... and how about stock springs?

thank you for your help.

Not sure if they'll fit, and this is a bit of unsolicited advice, but don't buy them. They'll just raise your gearing, slow the car down, throw off your speedometer, and raise the CG of the car. Do yourself a favor and get the correct diameter tires - there is a ton of them out there.

245/50 is a bit wide in the side profile. It'll probably fit, but its not going to look right.

If you want a 245 width tire, you need a 40 series profile (ie, 245/40/18), in order to make your car accelerate the same and not throw off your speedometer.

thank you all.. but it is only winter tires... i dont care if it throws me off on speedometer reading... but what matters is if it will fit... can someone confirm this?

$300 on only 7000 miles used is such a good deal!

Please can anyone verify this? thank you!

If it is a winter tire, I would stick with a 215 width or factory 225. Thinner the better.

I don't believe they will. I have 245/40's with Tein S-Techs. Looking at the tire size calculator, I think they'd be too tall. I wouldn't be comfortable with making that purchase. Maybe if you switched back to stock springs they'd fit.
