I want to buy some cheap winter tires. Will 225/55/16 be ok? My stock tire is 225/45/18 Let me know. THank You

 

No. 16" wheels will NOT fit over the large front brakes on your car, you need 17"s (and many, but not all, 17" wheels fit, so be sure before you buy).

PLEASE read some of the winter tire and wheel threads in this forum. There are several stickied threads at the top of the forum section, and a search for "winter tires" or "winter wheels" will turn up a LOT of essential reading. After reading through those threads, feel free to ask any questions you still have.
