Will 16 inches fit and will there be problems?

I wanna get some 16's for the track. i was thinking rotas. on some falkens. like 245 40 16. anyone running 16's? please let me know, i wanna buy soon.

i think i heard you can only fit 16's on the auto base model 8 because the brakes are much smaller. any other 8 will have larger brakes and therefore can't fit any 16's. so hopefully you have the auto base model. hope that helps dude!

this is what i heard from a service rep at my local mazda, but he told me that the base model has same brake size as the 6 speed. i have a 6 speed by the way. anybody know anything about this?

base auto does not have same brake size--the Auto with Sport Package and up do.

hmmm you should ask teh auto guys in the thread for at 8's only...about their brake size..they woudl know more than anyone.

i was under the impression that they were the same size though..but i haven't really checked it out.
